high on a hill top, Valdarecchia is in a splendid, panoramic
position. Valdarecchia has panoramic views over Apecchio,
the nearest village, which is noted for its fossil museum,
its medieval center, with the ducal palace of Ubaldini,
and its famous donkey-back bridge. Apecchio, with restaurants
and shops, is just one and a half kilometres away, has
every year wonderful White Truffle Fair, which takes
place every year at the beginning of October, should
not be missed.
Valdarecchia is situated in a quiet, rural area of Le
Marche, not far from the Umbria border. Located in the
heart of the Monte Nerone area, Valdarecchia is in an
ideal position for walking trips and horseback excursions.
In
the garden area in front of the farmhouse there is a
10 x 5m swimming pool.
The guests enjoy spectacular views from the al fresco
dining area which also has a traditional barbecue. There
are mountain bikes available for guests staying at Valdarecchia
(on request).

The main entrance leads into a hallway off which the cosy
sitting room has a beamed wooden ceiling and open fireplace.
The property is comfortably furnished in a rustic, country
style. There is a television in the sitting room. From the
separate dining area two steps lead up to a spacious and well-equipped
kitchen with fridge/freezer, sink unit, oven, 4 ring gas hob
and dishwasher.
There are 7 double bedrooms each with bathroom. There is a
possibility to add beds for total 6 p.
Gubbio
is just across the border and can be reached in half an hour.
Closer to the property, is the charming medieval town, Cagli.
with it’s characteristic 15th century oval tower. The
most beautiful countryside in Le Marche can be found in the
villages surrounding Cagli. In the local villages and towns
you will find a traditional, rural cuisine. The area is renown
for the local truffle.
